Who makes the book?
You bring the story: your child's idea, a tale starring your family or a friend, or one you've carried in your head for years. We turn it into pages, illustrate every scene, and lay it out as a real picture book, keeping your words and ideas at the heart of it.
Is it really personalized?
Yes, from the first page to the last. It isn't a template with a name dropped in: the book is built from your own story, and if you add photos, the people in the pictures are drawn to look like them, whether that's your child, your whole family or a friend.
What photos do I need?
None are required. You can add up to 3 photos (up to 20 MB each), for example the child or the people you'd like in the book. Clear, well-lit photos where faces are easy to see work best.
How long does it take?
Your part takes a few minutes: type, record, or upload the story and press send. No drawing, no design software, no templates. Your first preview usually arrives the same day. Printing and shipping come after you approve.
Can I print it?
Yes. Every book is made to be printed. Once you approve the preview, we print a real hardcover.
What languages can the book be in?
English or Spanish. Tell us the story in Spanish and the whole book will be in Spanish, and we'll write to you in Spanish too.
What does it cost?
Books are priced per copy, and you'll see the price with your preview. There's nothing to pay until you approve the book.
Can I change things?
Yes. Ask for as many tweaks as you want before printing: words, pictures, colors, even what the hero looks like. Just reply to our email.
