- Make it theirs. Their name on the cover as the author, if you like, and any tweak they ask for before printing.

What photo works best?
A clear, well-lit photo where the face is easy to see. You can add up to 3 photos (up to 20 MB each), for example the child plus a sibling or a pet.
Can my child write the story?
Yes, and we love when they do. They can type it, tell it in a voice note, or you can upload a photo of a page they wrote. We keep their words and ideas at the heart of the book.
Can the author name on the cover be my child's?
Yes. Fill in the optional author name, for example “Leah, age 7”, and it goes on the cover.
How long does it take?
Your part takes a few minutes. Your first preview usually arrives the same day. Printing and shipping come after you approve.
Can I change how the character looks?
Yes. Ask for as many tweaks as you want before printing: hair, clothes, colors, anything. Just reply to our email.
